In this policy ‘we’ ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to MacFin

We do not have access to your payment information. Purchases on our website are either transacted via Wix payments through a secure payment processor (Stripe or Adyen – this is a choice made by Wix Payments for each transaction and is not under our control). Or alternatively you can pay through through Paypal which is an option integrated into the website checkout process.

With whom do we share your information:

Protection of your personal information is of the utmost importance to us and we only share information where absolutely necessary in order to carry out our engagements with you or to comply with the law.

1) Postal/parcel delivery services (eg. address and sometimes telephone number in order to ensure safe delivery of your order)

2) To relevant legal bodies, if we are required to respond to injunctions, court orders, or legal process. Or if we believe that your actions violate applicable laws or any usage guidelines for our products or services, or threaten the rights, property, or safety of our company, our users, or others.

3) Payment processors. As specified in the payment information section, we do not have access to your payment details. These are processed securely either via Stripe or Adyen through Wix Payments or through Paypal. 4) His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC), if submission of customer invoices or receipts is required with a tax return.

 

How long do we keep your information:

We keep your information only as long as is necessary to carry out our activities as set out in this document, unless a longer retention period is required by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). In line with UK law, information such as invoices and receipts for records relating to tax will be kept for 6 years.

If you consent to receive marketing emails or updates about our company, your preferred contact details will be added to a mailing list database. You can be removed from this database at any time by emailing us at macfinwear@gmail.com

When we have no ongoing legitimate business or legal need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information. Some types of data may be collated in our database for internal business analysis purposes, but will be entirely anonymised.
